Former Holland mayor takes office as state representative
Former Holland Mayor Nancy DeBoer has taken office as state representative for Michigan’s new 86th House District, which includes the City of Holland, Holland Township, Park Township in Ottawa County, and Laketown Township in Allegan County.
Rep. DeBoer has named her legislative staff members, Legislative Director Jake Jelsema and Legislative Assistant David Andrusiak, who will staff her Lansing office.
“Jake and David both come with years of legislative experience that will be a great asset as we work together to advance legislation that reflects the needs of West Michigan families and assist them with matters related to state government,” said DeBoer (R-Holland). “I invite my neighbors to reach out to us with any thoughts or ideas about legislation or concerns we can help address.”
Residents can reach the representative’s Lansing office by phone at (517) 373-0846 or by email at [email protected]. Letters can be addressed to Rep. DeBoer at P.O. Box 30014 Lansing, MI 48909. DeBoer also plans to host regular office hours locally, where residents can speak with her face-to-face.
