State Rep. Sarah Lightner will host a tele-town hall meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 10, to provide a legislative update and answer questions from residents.
Lightner will discuss legislation that has become state law over the last year, including changes to firearms laws and a measure that strips away local control over the construction of wind and solar farms.
“We just wrapped up a very busy year in the Legislature, and I want to make sure everyone is fully informed,” said Lightner, R-Springport. “I look forward to having an open conversation and answering any questions you have.”
The event will start at 6 p.m. Those wishing to join may call toll-free at (877) 229-8493 and enter the passcode 122663 when prompted.
Residents can submit questions or learn more information by calling (517) 373-1773 or emailing [email protected].
