Representative Schuette Honored With Legislator Of The Year Award
RELEASE|May 15, 2025

State Representative Bill G. Schuette has been named the Michigan Manufacturers Association’s Legislator of the Year.

Schuette has been a consistent advocate for keeping manufacturing jobs in Michigan while working to bring additional transformational opportunities to the state. He has supported measures that lower income taxes for workers so they can keep more of what they earn, cut burdensome red tape for job providers and expand domestic production potential for critical industries like semi-conductors.

“Manufacturing is the industry that helped build our middle class and creates quality, good-paying careers that brought families like my grandparents to our state,” Schuette said. “I’ll always work for solutions for Michigan that allow our communities to thrive and make our state an even better place to live, work and raise a family. Manufacturing is a crucial part of that equation in Michigan.”

Schuette is serving his second term in the Legislature and represents the 95th House District, which includes all of Midland County, as well as Beaverton, Billings and Tobacco townships in Gladwin County.
